Main Tasks and Responsibilities: • Coordinate design engineering and engineering support for construction activities, • including coordination with the various disciplines. • Perform the engineering coordination and tasks follow-up functions assigned by the • Project Delivery Manager, including interfaces within the Project functions, coordination • of technical meetings and overall project coordination. • Coordinate and tasks follow-up functions assigned by the Construction Manager during • the Construction stage, including interfaces within the Project functions, coordination of • technical meetings and overall project coordination. • Coordinate and manage all interface work with Stakeholders, Authorities, Consultants and • Contractors. • Coordinate and manage all permit related activities for all projects. • Assure the Engineering activities completion according to Contract scope of work in • accordance with project plan and quality. • Assist the Project Delivery Manager in the project initiation activities and in preparation of • the Project Execution Plan. • Assuring the application to project of all the relevant norms, local rules, company • standards and international best practices on accident prevention and human protection, • environmental impact reduction and energy efficiency. • Provide technical expertise and coordinate the specialist engineers related to engineering • design package. • Ensure implementation of applicable Lessons Learns of previous projects during Design. • Coordinate the engineering activities planned by the Engineering contractor to ensure • compliance with scope of work, the safe design requirements, Operability, maintainability, • and quality objectives of the project. • Monitor and Report Contractor Engineering activities performance. • Ensure timely implementation of project safety requirements on the design according to • Company and international HSE Specifications and norms • Support the Project Delivery Manager with the coordination of the project engineering, • procurement, and construction activities. • Ensure the fulfillment of the engineering activities schedule and budget. • Perform project task activities as delegated by Project Delivery Manager related to • technical meetings, and engineering specialist coordination. • Distribute tasks among engineering specialists and provide support with the development • of job descriptions. • Define technical scope of contracts. • Provide inputs for the proposals on professional development of the engineering • specialists within his/her functionality. • Monitor all the engineering work of the Engineering contractor and Construction team. • Coordination of engineering support to fabrication/construction during execution. • Ensure compliance with Company guidelines and Quality Assurance system. • Clear understanding of the interface's activities between EPC Contractors and third • parties. • Coordination of all project/package technical interfaces activities. • Active participation on the development of functional strategy within the framework of • functional areas. • Adhere to the Company's health, safety, environmental and security policies at all times • and immediately report violations of these policies to OQGN's health, safety & • environment representatives. • Coordinate the document control process to ensure that information flows are properly • managed within OQGN, between it and other key stakeholders, particularly the required • authority. To lead the companys regulatory strategy, compliance frameworks, and health authority engagement across markets, ensuring the timely registration and legal clearance of all products, platforms, and services in line with public health, data privacy, and telehealth-specific standards.Key Responsibilities Define and execute the regulatory roadmap for Oman and the wider GCC, covering product approvals, platform licensing, and post-market surveillance for all HealthTech services. Act as the primary interface with the Ministry of Health (MOH), DGPA, and other health authorities across the region, managing submissions, renewals, and audits. Oversee the classification and documentation of digital platforms, software as a medical device (SaMD), and remote diagnostics in line with global and regional frameworks. Lead cross-functional regulatory support during product development, localization, and commercialization stages, working closely with product, engineering, legal, and quality assurance teams. Develop internal governance processes, regulatory training, and compliance reporting tools. Monitor changes in health regulations, data protection laws, and ethical telemedicine policies, advising senior leadership on compliance risks and market entry feasibility. Manage external regulatory consultants and advisors where applicable to support speed-to-market and localization needs. 1015 years of regulatory affairs experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medtech sector, with a minimum of 3+ years in the GCC. Experience with HealthTech or digital health platforms is strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of local and international regulatory frameworks, including those related to medical device software, data privacy (GDPR, local laws), and cross-border health services. Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Public Health, or Regulatory Affairs; postgraduate qualification is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and advisory skills; able to liaise with regulators, executive teams, and internal developers. Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is a plus, particularly for regional regulatory engagement.
