Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Health Sector is looking for Medical Officer Job Description / Responsibility Job Context: Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 15 projects. “Monasef Ahsania Health Center” situated at Gazipur, is one of the institutions of the Health Sector, aiming to provide high-standard quality healthcare services to the general population at a reasonable price. It’s a well-equipped diagnosis service along with a pharmacy setup. DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Medical Officer of “Monasef Ahsania Health Center”, Gazipur. Job Responsibility: • Be familiar with ESD+ services and remain up dated and keep staff up update. • Be responsible for delivery of designated ESP services according to specific protocols. • Ensure documentation of services conduct normal deliveries and supervise/assist in LUCS operation. • Conduct delivery with maintaining the partograpgh • Ensure registration, clinical examination and documentation of mother or ante-natal and post-natal care examine. • Identify risk pregnancies and their effective referral following developed guidelines. • Provide services in line with the guidelines developed under quality of care system. • Taking accounts of technical competence and clients need.Assist nurse in ensuring that they perform their responsibility efficiently. • Provide on the job training to Hospital Nurses, Paramedic/Midwife. • Assess the need for drugs and instruments/Equipment • Assist Clinic Manager in their procurement. • Ensure proper recording of clients information and filling in appropriate places. • Any other responsibilities as designated from time to time assigned by the supervisor • Ensure proper filing of records for the Hospital Activities. Educational Requirements • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS) Experience Requirements • At least 1 year(s) • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO Additional Requirements • Minimum 1 years of Experience at any reputed Hospital. Working experiance in development field will be preferable; • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse and marginalized populations; • Ability to exercise flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities; • Ability to work within a team; • Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral; • Minimum computer literacy; • Demonstrate organization and project management skills; • Ability to plan, evaluate and meet deadlines; • Maintain safeguard policy of DAM; • Good analytical skills; Job Location Gazipur Salary Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
