Summary:

This 26-bed unit provides the following types of treatments:
• Medical: antibiotic and/or medication infusion; blood/blood product infusion; chemotherapy; hydration therapy; care of Vascular Access Devices; high-alert monitoring drugs (e.g., IV IgG, IV rituximab); cyclic TPN.
• Surgical: ophthalmic procedures; ENT procedures; BMT (adult and pediatric) radiation therapy; bone marrow biopsies and intrathecal chemo.
• Other: abdominal paracentesis; PICC line removal; dressing changes/wound care; pheresis.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
• Current nursing (RN) license
• Must have a minimum of two years current working on a Day Medical & Surgical Unit in a tertiary setting.
• Applicants must have some oncology experience

The hospital can consider both FEMALE and MALE candidates at this time.
