Our client is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Lead Civil Engineer specializing in structural design to join their fully remote engineering team. This senior role will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex structural projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of structural analysis, materials science, and construction methodologies. You will lead a team of engineers, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with clients and project managers to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:
Lead the structural design process for various engineering projects, from conceptualization to detailed design. Perform complex structural analysis using advanced software tools (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro). Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for concrete, steel, and other structural materials. Ensure designs comply with all applicable building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IBC, ACI, AISC). Review and approve designs prepared by junior engineers and drafters. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the structural engineering team. Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery. Conduct site visits and construction inspections as required (typically brief and coordinated remotely). Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders. Manage project timelines and budgets related to structural engineering tasks.
