We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Engineer with a specialization in solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the construction phase of solar facilities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and timelines for solar construction projects.Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment with overall project goals.Conduct site assessments to evaluate conditions and suitability for solar installations.Develop plans for site preparation, including grading, foundations, and infrastructure requirements.Select and manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for construction activities.Ensure that contractors adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Implement quality control processes to ensure the construction of solar facilities meets industry standards and project specifications.Monitor compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety protocols.Work closely with the project finance team to manage construction budgets effectively.Identify and address cost overruns, deviations, and other financial considerations.Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret design specifications and ensure seamless integration during construction.Resolve design-related issues that may arise during the construction phase.Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on construction sites.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience in solar construction projects, with a focus on utility-scale installations.Familiarity with solar technologies, construction methodologies, and best practices.Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
