Job Description / Responsibility

We are a globally recognized Headwear manufacturer, seeking an AGM – Merchandising (Cap/Headwear). The ideal candidate is strategic, proactive, and results-focused, with the experience and initiative to lead the merchandising function, drive high-quality results, and ensure smooth coordination across teams and buyers.
• Manage the end-to-end merchandising process, from product development to shipment.
• Lead and mentor the merchandising team, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, handling inquiries, negotiations, and approvals.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and buyers to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
• Monitor order progress, ensuring timely raw material sourcing and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure compliance with buyer specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare and present sales, order, and production reports for senior management.
• Execute any other responsibilities assigned by top management.

Educational Requirements
• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Skills Required: Merchandising, Marketing, Buyer Handling, Leadership and teamwork, Shipment follow up, Problem solving and decision making, Email Communications, Time Management and Prioritization

Experience Requirements
• 10 to 15 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Garments
